Touring Exhibition Information
Since 1997 Art for Justice has brought inspirational artwork to 82 exhibits and events, some of which include: The Free Library of Philadelphia Parkway Central Library, Elizabethtown College, Pendle Hill, Journey Home Community Center, Philadelphia City Hall, Community College of Philadelphia, Temple University, Rudgers University, Villanova University, Montgomery County Community College, Widener University, John Jay College of Criminal Justice in NYC, and local Churches. In sharing the acclaimed artworks with the public, Art for Justice has brought public awareness to the cycle of poverty, violence, crime, and incarceration in our society.
Art for Justice invites academic institutions and organizations to take a fresh look at the question of capital punishment, from both inside and outside the prison walls. The debate over the death penalty crosses many academic disciplines, including law, philosophy, religion, politics, public policy, and journalism. Believing that art brings people together Art for Justice seeks to inspire a conversation in an open, informative and transformative way.
