Ann Marie is a dancer, poet, and photographer with thirty-five years of experience as a teacher and advocate for social justice. In 2008 Ann Marie received the Leeway Foundation’s Transformation Award which is given to Women and Trans Artists who have worked for social change.

For thirty years Ann Marie has taught dance and yoga to adults and children. She designed and teaches a Yoga/Dance Movement Program for mentally and physically challenged adults. “Working with communities to celebrate and maximize the potential within us all – that is my mission and my delight!”

Ann Marie also leads The Roadmap for Life Workshops for youth who have experienced trauma and are at risk of entering the criminal justice system. The Workshops use art as a means to process and translate trauma and adversity into creative self expression.

A joyous, loving mother, grandmother and wife, Ann Marie lives in the woods of Green Lane, Pennsylvania. Her life is a testament to caring for others, living close with nature, and working for justice and humanity in our times.
